I’ve always been driven to create in one medium or another, whether clay or dance or pencil, or, for many years, I worked to create art with homeless youth. Recently, however, I’ve begun a new line of creation, working with folks trying to do good in the world through their philanthropic gifts. I’ve worked with young folks as if their lives depended on it and with wealthy folks as if their hearts depended on it. I’ve forged bonds through the arts and deep discussions. My work has been all about relationships and, I've learned along the way, so has my art. And so, you see, my work—whether social or art or philanthropic—is all about diverse people, complex relationships, individual journeys, rich connections and human expression. Turns out, all my work is social.
